American Made Recovery is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by addiction as they rebuild their lives through structure, accountability, and service.

Our work is rooted in the belief that recovery is more than sobriety — it is about restoring dignity, developing responsibility, and reconnecting individuals to their communities.

Our Story

American Made Recovery was founded by individuals who understand recovery firsthand.

Both founders are in recovery themselves and have experienced the challenges of rebuilding life after addiction — including navigating housing instability, reentry, accountability, and the need for meaningful community support.

This lived experience shapes everything we do. We understand that recovery requires structure, consistency, and an environment that supports growth, responsibility, and long-term stability.

American Made Recovery is led by people who believe that recovery is strongest when it is supported by accountability, peer connection, and service to others.

Our leadership is committed to building programs that are practical, ethical, and grounded in real-world experience — programs that meet people where they are while setting clear expectations for growth and independence.

Why We Do This Work

We know that many individuals leaving treatment, incarceration, or unstable living situations face significant barriers to stability. Without safe housing, structure, and community support, progress can be difficult to sustain.

American Made Recovery exists to help bridge that gap by creating supportive environments and recovery-focused programs that encourage responsibility, connection, and purpose.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build sustainable sober living homes and recovery support programs that serve both individuals and the broader community of Yuma County, Arizona. Our intention is to go against the grain and want those we help to feel at home, feel inspired to stick around, and work their programs in environments that encourage them from the second they sign their welcome packets.

As American Made Recovery grows, we aim to expand sober living opportunities for men and women, strengthen community outreach efforts, and collaborate with local partners throughout Yuma County, Arizona, to support lasting recovery and reintegration.
